My name is Tamara, known also as Nepenthe around my various online beauty haunts. The nickname started when I was getting into the beauty communities, before I was comfortable putting information about myself out there. These days I answer to both.

Right now I’m living in Canada, which is also where I was born, for those people who may be curious. A self-professed beauty fiend who came into the game relatively late. I’ve been fascinated with makeup since high school, but I didn’t have a good grasp of it until recently. These days I definitely consider makeup to be one of my favourite hobbies. The endless colours, textures and mediums are fascinating to me, and I love experimenting with colours. Of course, there is always the search for the perfect product too (they seem to be elusive) but I’m definitely enjoying the journey.
