Ricky & Nicki are the new faces of Viva Glam

For those who keep up on the faces of Viva Glam know that there was a new collaboration on deck for 2012. I actually really like the new spin on this iconic aspect of MAC; this year features the traditional lipstick with the addition of a clear lip conditioner.

When I first caught wind of the lip conditioner aspect, I got really excited thinking that they had brought back the black bullet version of the lip conditioner.  It was disappointing to discover that it’s the tube version; which to be fair, isn’t all bad.  It’s my personal favourite of the current lip conditioner line up.

The fearless Ricky Martin and Nicki Minaj introduce Nicki’s lipstick in a scene-stealing pink and Ricky’s colourless lip conditioner in a tube that goes from day to dance floor!     I love the VG lipsticks usually but may have to pass on this one. Warm pinks are not usually kind to me….like Chatterbox is absolutely disastrous on my complexion while Snob and Pink Nouveau look great

      I’m interested to see how it stacks up, I’ll be heading to the counter this weekend I think. Did you ever try Viva Glam Gaga?

    I tried it but didn’t buy it. I have Snob, St Germain and together they look identical to Gaga so I didn’t get it

    Can’t wait to check these out this weekend. Like you, I’m more interested in the lip conditioner than the lipstick. It would’ve been nice if they would’ve come up with a pretty coral color instead of another pink. Oh well.

      I’m interested to see just how pink it is on me. I feel like it’s going to be a mix of Viva Glam Cyndi & Gaga.. but we shall see. :]
