Estée Lauder Warehouse Sale Redux

This past Friday I made the trek to Markham to attend the Estée Lauder warehouse sale. It was my second time going and it was just as much fun this time around, especially since I got to meet up with some other makeup fanatics. As always, it’s by invitation only and if you don’t have a ticket, you cannot enter. I arrived before 10:30 am, and while there was a line up it moved quickly. There was even some entertainment as the police on duty (yep, they have popo patrolling the entire area) who reminded everyone to write their name on the ticket so as not to hold up the line. Repeatedly. LOL

After my last experience I felt much more comfortable moving around the space, and I felt like my browsing was more efficient. I knew roughly where the points of interest were, which helped me navigate through all the rooms relatively quickly. It so happened that what I was after was in fact there, the old style pigment jars.. yay! I’ve got a lot of pressing to do now. By far though, the lip products were a great deal.. they were all $10 each and buy one get one free! Good times I say, good times.

Warehouse Haulage

I also managed to pick up the free gift and charity bag. The charity bags are fantastic, they cost $5 and the full proceeds to to charity. My bag contained a pearlglide eye liner, an eye shadow, a lipstick and a blush.. for $5!  The free gift was a Mineralized Skin Finish in Perfect Topping, a limited edition item from last year’s Sugarsweet collection.

If you have any questions about the sale or any of the products, just let me know.  Enjoy the photos. :]

  1. Wow, what a great haul! I got some of the same lashes as you, but I couldn’t figure out what numbers they were! Never bought lashes before so maybe I’m just totally missing it or you just know the numbers and it really isn’t on the package anywhere. You’re lucky you got that Pink Swoon blush, by the time I went in line for it, they told me it was sold out. Lots of great stuff! I might make a more detailed post about my haul, lots of people were asking for it. Enjoy all your stuff!

    • Nepenthe says:

      Thanks. :]

The numbers for the lashes are on the side of the package, they’re quite small.. but they were on all of mine. I’d love to see a detailed post!

hi i just wanted to know wht r the prices for the lipsticks and perfumes.r the prices for lipstick under or 5 and the price of perfumes
    thanks

  4. Now THAT’S what I call haulage!! Just out of interest, HOW do you get invited and approx how many people show up?

    • Nepenthe says:

All Lauder employees are given invitations and they are also given out to various companies that do business with them. The number that go out is pretty high, but in my experience most permanent employees don’t seem to go, I suppose because of the gratis. As far as getting them, it’s about who you know.. or who you’re willing to ask. Some local sites post them for sale and I’ve seen them sell anywhere from $20 to $50.. which is insane.

  8. Xcapaid says:

Wow. Great haul and pics. I need to find my way to one of these sales one day! The Estee lauder long island sale doesn’t compare.

    • Nepenthe says:

Really? I always assumed it’d be the same or better at the Long Island sale. Maybe it has to do with lots of things being sent to CCO’s.. which we don’t have here?

And thanks for dropping by! :]

  9. JC says:

    *Thud* Drooling over your haul.

  10. Mary Schoenmaker says:
