From the time the first promotional images were posted, this set really captured people’s attention. From the blogs to makeup groups on Facebook and even Twitter, the Lavish Rose set had people buzzing. The colour names were initially absent, which I think helped to fuel the curiosity for this cool toned set and for all the hype, it’s worth it for those who enjoy these types of colours.

Initially I wondered if these would be too cool tone for many people, but after seeing them on I think they are actually quite versatile across a variety of undertones and skin tones.   Mix and match over your favourite products or just wear alone.   The lighter two would pair well with a soft nude or pale to medium pink or lilac base and the latter two are gorgeous over berry, plum, red, wine and deeper pink shades.
