My Lips But Better

A few weeks ago, I was experimenting with some lip products and came across a combination that I’ve absolutely fallen in love with. It’s relatively subtle, but it’s definitely a more polished look than natural lips with a balm.  It actually falls into the MLBB category; my lips but better!

The only downside to this combination is that two of the three products were limited edition.  Which just makes it difficult to replace them should I ever run out.

Products

• MAC Lipglass Pencil / Rosebound(LE)
• MAC Lip Pencil / Half-Red
• Stila Pearl Shimmer Gloss / Ocean Current (LE)

I use Rosebound first to fill in the entire lip.

Afterwards, I use Half-Red to trace the lip line. I find that using the lip pencil second makes it easier to blend, to avoid that harsh outline.

To finish off, I apply Ocean Current for a touch more colour and a lot more shine.
