Quick Look: Dramatic Orange

A few weeks ago I was browsing my usual beauty blogs when I came upon an article on Beauty Editor that made me giggle. She was talking about the orange eyelids that were trending on the runway, and asked whether it would translate to everyday wear. Of course, in my mind the answer was a resounding yes – but admittedly I wasn’t surprised to see the majority of the comments weren’t in favour of it.

I absolutely love orange, but as with most things, I feel like everyone needs to find their own complimentary shade. With orange you can go full on, lean peach or copper or even pull a rusty brown for something more subtle – but I argue that it can be done! LOL

A few days ago, I decided to defy the winter gloom with makeup and this is what resulted.

    Your wearable orange eye look is nice. I also don’t think it’s just for the runway. I think it just depends on how it’s applied and which shades you use.

    Orange looks good on your girl! I don’t think it’ll work for me though… maybe a more muted one will. I’ll just settle for orange lips and cheeks :p
