Face of the Day: Beautiful Brights

About a week ago I was watching a makeup tutorial on YouTube featuring bright colours. I was actually surprised to see it, but I thought it turned out very nicely. Unfortunately, there are a lot of people out there that like to point out the obvious. There were quite a few comments that talked about how it was “too bright”, “looked like clown makeup” and “very unnatural”. It never fails to amaze me that someone will see a video on a bright look, and then comment that it’s bright.

Duh?

The positive thing that came from it was that I was inspired to do a bright look. I know that not everyone is comfortable with bright shadows, but I don’t think that it’s clown like at all.
