Face of the Day: Channeling Colour
The past few days I’ve been feeling like wearing bright colours, which is always fun. Do you like bright colours or do you tend to keep things more neutral?
Yesterday I was determined to rock a red lip because I’m absolutely in love with MAC’s Ruby Woo lipstick. It’s definitely a classic red, which made me think about doing a retro styled look, which went to a completely different level with the scarf and hair. I don’t think I’d do this every day, but I’m not going to lie; IT WAS SO FUN!

both looks are gorgeous! But I loooove the first one, u look just adorable! Ruby Woo is also my fave red, it looks more blue-toned on me though. Might be my lip pigmentation.
Great work
Aw, thank you. :]
I always find it interesting how different the same colour can look on different toned lips/skin.
Channeling Colour gives you a naughty Little Red Riding Food look! Very nice!
Beautiful looks!! Ruby Woo is a flattering red on you combined with the neutral eyes. Love it =)
Thank you. :] I think it will go into a regular rotation, which is amusing since there was a time where I would have run screaming from run lipstick. LOL
Both looks are fabulous. I love the hair style too. I may have to B2M for Ruby Woo now and the get the liner too. Plus I see 1-2 eyeshadows I don’t have but need to pick up like Arena and Saddle.
Thank you! :] Arena is definitely a favourite of mine.. it’s versatile, I think I used it every day for a few weeks when I first got it.
You look so great in Ruby Woo…and i love your hair in those photos…Gorg!!!
Thanks Tish! I absolutely love Ruby Woo.. it’s definitely up there with MAC Red for me. The hair was a twist out coming to it’s end, so I needed something different.. LOL
