Face of the Day: Wear Teal Day

Today is Wear Teal Day! A number of my fellow beauty bloggers are also showing their support, which I think is an amazing gesture.

Teal is the color of ovarian cancer awareness. On the first Friday in September, our national ovarian cancer awareness month, we urge everyone who cares about this disease to wear teal–and tell others why you are dressed in this color. Remember, awareness is preventative and key to early detection!

        Thanks Vonnie! :] I wanted to keep it pretty simple and figured liquid liner was a good way to pair it.

      Unfortunately I missed it. I was on vacation and didn’t bring any teal colors with me. I mostly stuck to one Coastal Scents palette. Ha ha!

      I was in your country. I went to Vancouver. I’m not sure what part of Canada you’re from. I remember you explaining to me what Winners was and that it was based in Canada. I saw one while I was there. It was next to a huge Sears that was different from any other Sears I’ve ever been to here in the states. It was 3 levels with a huge cosmetics dept! :-)

        I hope you had fun in Vancouver. I’ve never been out west before. I’m in Ontario, about an hour from Toronto. I’m glad you were able to find a Winners.. LOL. We don’t have many department stores here, but between Sears & the Bay they usually have a strong offering of cosmetics.
