Face of the Day: Hello Yellow
Despite neutrals being my usual go-to for daily makeup, lately I’ve been feeling inspired by brights. Bright shadows or bright lips – I feel a bit wanting if I’m not rocking something bold. Today was perfect for yellow, bright and sunny! Given my love of yellow shadows, this was an easy choice.. and I’m actually pretty happy with how it turned out. I think it came out much more wearable than I imagined.

What shadow were you using?
Yellows can be troublesome, I find that a white.. or in this case yellow base can help anchor the colour nicely.

Maybe not that particular yellow.. but I’m a huge believer in finding just the right shade to make things work across the board.

I’d pair it with nearly anything.. it’s pretty versatile, especially when the rest of the face is quite neutral.
