Face of the Day ~ Smoked Burgundy [U.W.Y.H.]

One of my favourite makeup gurus is Josh, widely known as petrilude on YouTube and elsewhere online.  He has just recently started in on a series entitled; Use What You Have or “U.W.Y.H.”.  It’s a hard line focus on encouraging his viewers to use what they already have, instead of being hung up on having the exact same colours and tools to recreate his looks.  Personally, I think it’s a great idea and is an unexpected challenge since many gurus usually cater to the many (often times repeated) questions of what products are used.

Last I checked, there are currently four video looks in the series.  I chose the second video, a burgundy twist on a smokey eye.  This is my interpretation and my list of products:

I think it turned out pretty well, although I don’t like how the brows look close up. I’ll have to work on that and get a better handle on the new brow products.
