Lip of the Day: Pink With A Twist

When I originally picked up Insanely It, I was thinking I’d pair it with Magenta lip pencil.  The MAC Artist that was helping me actually suggested Beet, which initially I was a bit skeptical about.  The swatches didn’t lie though, and I agreed that Beet allowed for a more true interpretation of colour.

Fast forward to the buzz around Summer Shower and how ‘unusable’ it was.  It’s the perfect accent colour to any cool lip colour.  Reflects Transparent Teal glitter is also a fun alternative, though it definitely packs more colour.  I love the subtle highlight of this combination and the unexpected teal shift.

    Great Post T, I was looking at the Summer Shower too trying to figure out what the heck that would look good with. I didn’t swatch it so I didn’t know if it was opaque or sheer but now that I know I will definitely pick it up.
