Pseudo Smokey in Teal

Came up with this look a few days ago, after deciding that I wanted to use one of my newest pigment samples. The focal pigment Partylicious isn’t new exactly, it was released a few months ago with MAC’s Alice & Olivia collection. It’s a gorgeous colour and reminds me of Aqualine liquidlast liner in pigment form.

Pseudo Smokey Eye

I don’t utilize this style very often, but I was pleasantly surprised with how it turned out. I used Vanilla pigment on the inner corners, Partylicious pigment on the lid, Contrast eye shadow on the outer corner and into the crease, with more Partylicious pulled into the inner crease.  Haux eye shadow was used to transition into Naked pigmented, which was used to highlight the brow bone.  Contrast and Partylicious were also used along the lower lid for continuity.  Winged liner and half lashes, with some kohl on the waterline finished off the look.

I love this look! Teal is one of my favorite colors.

  7. I love it! I really like how you placed the colours. I’ve never done my eye makeup this way but it might look a little strange with my eye shape.

    • Thank you Arianne. :] I’m always paranoid about placement and shape, I’ve tried to replicate looks I’ve seen and it just doesn’t work. It’s definitely about tweaking things that compliment our individual eye shapes.
