Spiced Chocolate Quad
This quad was released with MAC’s Cult of Cherry Collection in the fall of 2008. It was one of the most popular pieces of the entire collection, but interestingly enough – it’s very easy to mimic with colours from their permanent collection.
Nanogold (lustre)
very similar to Vex (frost)
Brash (veluxe pearl)
very similar to Coppering (veluxe pearl)
Sweet Chestnut (frost)
very similar to Cranberry (frost)
Spiced Chocolate (matte)
very similar to Handwritten (matte2)
Cranberry eyeshadow isn’t a part of my collection (yet?), but another excellent (although limited edition) alternative is Heritage Rouge pigment.

It suits me.
I don’t like the colour.
I wonder where they are.
Keep an eye on your local CCO and you might be able to find one.
Hi. I’ve been searching the net for users of the MUFE HD foundation and came across your site. I seem to be your exact skintone. Sadly there is no Sephora store near me so i would have to order it online. I’m a bit picky about ordering online tho because i get tired of making trips to the post office if it doesn’t match and so on…
I just wanted to know if you mixed the 153 with the 170 for an exact match? I usually use Chanel’s vitalumiere in walnut but am finding it to be a little to reddish for me. Hope to hear back soon! Thanks!
Hi Mikeilah,
I was mixing 153 with 170 since I still had some of my tan from the summer, and I couldn’t justify trying to match yet another colour when I still had both sitting there. My natural colour is a great match for 153, which I’m just getting back into using. I switched to 170 in the summer as my skin tanned and more gold/yellow tones came out.
I’ve never used Vitalumiere before, so I can’t speak to the colour match.. but from the website it looks darker than something I’d use, but then web photos aren’t always the best. Looking at the sample photos MUFE’s 175 looks close to Walnut, and it has coral undertones. Maybe you’d be 173, which is the next step deeper from 153. If you’ve ever been colour matched for MAC.. my natural colour is around NC42 and my summer colour is around NW40. I hope that helps somewhat. I do find that MUFE has some great colours, but I can imagine how tedious it must be not to be able to test in person.
Good luck. :]
