Packaging: A clear plastic bottle with a pump that pushes up from the bottom, topped with a clear pop-top lid.

Experience: Originally, I picked this up at the drugstore during a sale. My skin can be quite sensitive, but I’m always looking for an inexpensive option with high use products. They do a good job with drawing the eye, as the swirled appearance is pretty and happily that doesn’t detract from how it performs.

The pump dispenses enough product for your entire face in a single pump. On my first bottle, I felt I went through it very quickly until I realized that my two pumps per use was such a waste of product. My next bottles have lasted significantly longer as I’ve curbed that habit. The only con I discovered with the packaging is that it’s not terribly sturdy. I dropped it twice in the shower, and the second time the entire top of the bottle popped off. It does reattach easily, but I did lose some product in the process. The formula is thick, so you don’t have to worry about it being too runny and dripping everywhere. This cleanser has a very fresh scent, which isn’t terribly strong but it might be too much for people sensitive to such things.

I really like the convenience of a cleanser and scrub together, and it is actually gentle enough for daily use. My luck with drugstore skincare has never been particularly good, but this is definitely an exception to the rule. The cleanser does a great job removing any residual makeup, and the physical and chemical exfoliation has cooperated well with my skin. I noticed that my skin was less congested and number of breakouts were down significantly after a few weeks use.

To say I was shocked at how well this product worked for me would be a big understatement. I’m really happy to have finally found a product that not only works well with my fickle skin, but is affordable and easily accessible.
