My Thoughts: This product was included as a VIB bonus during one of my trips to Sephora. Generally, I’m not a huge fan of face primers because I find it’s just another layer that doesn’t add any benefit. I should clarify that the primary use of the POREfessional is to minimize the appearance of pores. I found that it did a good job blurring them out on my nose, while being slightly less effective across my cheeks. Unfortunately, as with most face priming products I found myself very oiler, relatively quickly. Needless to say, I wasn’t impressed at all.

That said, this product can also be used over makeup. It does reduce the appearance of oil, and the blurring effect works just as well over top. I followed the suggestion of ‘tapping’ the product onto the skin to blend, but I found that there was transfer on my fingertips. It wasn’t removing massive amounts of foundation, but the idea of decreasing coverage for a minor benefit isn’t all that appealing. I’d sooner use blot film to combat my shiny face, that way I’m reducing shine without adding any additional product to my skin.
