Drugstore Gem is a titled given to those exceptional products that I’ve discovered at the drugstore. While there is no shortage of products to choose from in the beauty aisles, these particular products stand out and shine. Prices will vary based on your location, so be sure to check out your local stores for that information.

Revlon Matte Lipstick

Matte lipsticks are a tricky thing to do right, but Revlon did a great job with this formula. These are very creamy and like most matte lipsticks; work best on smooth, exfoliated lips. Unfortunately, there is a real lack of depth to the colour range, which is surprising given that many of Revlon’s other lipsticks have numerous options.

    I’ve tried Nude Attitude…it’s super light for my deep skin tone so I don’t wear it opaque.. but I dab a light wash of it on my lips and wear my favorite nude lip gloss for a great nude lip…

    I love these lipsticks!! They’re quite comparable to MAC lipsticks in my opinion. Great buy, I’m trying to find a place that sells them in bulk, but no luck. :/

    I haven’t tried any matte lipsticks yet, actually. I’m a bit worried that my lips are in too bad of a condition to wear these lipsticks, because I take bad care of them ! :\

      Matte is a fabulous finish, but it does require a smooth surface or it highlights any dry or chapped areas.

    i never seen or heard of these lipsticks, but i will be on my next trip to cvs/walmart/walgreens, for sure.

      They blend in well with the other Revlon formulas, but they’ve been out for a while. :]
