Five Favourites: Red Lip Edition

To go along with the bold lip tips, I decided to compile a special ‘Five Favourites’ with my top red lip products. All of these products are what I reach for first, and have been well used (with the exception of Dragon – review coming soon – but the product is beyond amazing).

Lip Gloss (opaque): MAC Lip Glass in Cult of Cherry

This is an opaque, rich cherry shade with a subtle pearl finish.  Less can be used for a softer look, but I prefer it full on.

Lip Gloss (sheer): MAC Lustreglass in Venetian

A sheer, subtly shimmer infused red gloss that’s very easy to wear.

Lip Liner: MAC Lip Pencil in Cherry

Heavily pigmented, blue based red liner that looks great on it’s own under clear gloss.

Lipstick: MAC Matte Lipstick in Ruby Woo

My perfect classic, matte red lipstick

Liquid Lipstick: Chanel Rouge Allure Laque in Dragon

Glorious, deep ruby red.  It’s packaged like a gloss, but covers like a lipstick with a subtle shimmer that adds great dimension while still remaining very refined.
