The Japanese Skincare Revolution
I’ve always loved reading and in that dreamiest of dream homes, I always imagined a giant library, the two floored type found in old manor houses. Despite that, I’ve never been a collector of books due to lack of space. I grew up as a regular visitor to the library, so if I wanted to read something I’d just borrow. Every now and then though, something will catch my eye. Two weeks ago I was at the local bookstore. It should be no surprise that I found myself browsing the health and beauty section, and I found a few goodies.

The first was a book written by Chizu Saeki, one of Japan’s top beauty consultants. It’s titled “The Japanese Skincare Revolution: How to Have the Most Beautiful Skin of Your Life — At Any Age. A bit of a mouthful to be sure, but wow. It’s only 126 pages and with it’s how-to, manual stylings – I read it all while enjoying a luxurious soak in the tub, but you can read it anywhere, even if you’re online reading other articles on Beauty Thesis or playing at www.casino.com. Yes, I do read quickly.. but I couldn’t believe I actually finished it. It was light reading and obviously the subject of skincare held my attention.
I really enjoy her holistic approach to skincare. Some people might not take it seriously, but it really does make sense when you stop and think about it. It actually brought to mind an article written by Felicia of ThisThatBeauty about hyperpigmentation. Two women just telling it like it is.
The ideas are simple. The willpower required to start and maintain are what’s tricky.
Both the book and article are highly recommended, check them out!

You’re very welcome! It was an awesome article. :]
I read about it some days ago in another blog and the main things that you mention here are very similar.
The topic The Japanese Skincare Revolution | Beauty Thesis is absolutely new for me, but it´s very interesting. I have to read more about this topic and make me my own opinion. Thanks, Wein Muller
