Stash ~ Limited Edition Lipstick Collection [M.A.C.]

It’s been about a month since my last ‘stash’ installation, so I thought it was about time for an update.  Enjoy!

This time around I am showcasing more lip products, but today we’re focusing on lipstick.  More specifically, limited edition lipstick from MAC Cosmetics. All of the lipstick shown are from one of the following collections:

Before I encountered MAC, I was not much of a lipstick fan. For some reason it just struck me as something that was too heavy for my tastes, not to mention the old woman stigma. As you’ll see in the following photos, I’ve gotten well past that false stereotype. These days I’m quite fond of lipstick, and it’s just as verstaile as eyeshadows with endless colours and textures to choose from.

You also may notice that some of the packaging looks a bit different from the usual black, matte bullet that MAC uses to package their lipstick.  While all of the lipstick shown here is limited edition, sometimes MAC will promote special packaging to go along with the release of a new collection.  Usually they’re quite fun looking and often quite sought after by general collectors and packaging fiends.  Personally, I won’t buy something just for the packaging, but they are pretty to look at.
