Mattene Lipstick Swatches
It’s been far too long since I’ve updated with a “stash” post. During today’s makeup storage re-organization I figured I might as well knock out another one.
Some more lip products, this time featuring the slender tubed Mattene and Slimshine lipsticks. While the packaging looks similar, the formulas couldn’t be anymore different.
Mattene Lipstick:

Slimshine Lipstick Swatches
By far my favourite of the two finishes is Mattene. I love matte lips, they’ve just got this air of refinement about them. The greatest thing about this formulation compared to many other matte lipsticks, is the fact that they’re so moisturizing. The best of both worlds.

Thanks for the swatches! I’m not a big slimshine fan (though I have 3) but mattenes are the best! I’ve got Night Violet, Kircsh, Rougette and PowerSuit and I don’t mind getting more
How does Immodest compare to other hot pink lipsticks like Gladiola or Show Orchid?
Not a huge fan either, I prefer more colour. I only picked up Grenadine because I thought it’d be cute for spring. I’d love to find some of the other Mattenes.. or if MAC re-promoted them!
I’m not sure how either of them compare, as I don’t have those colours. It’s not neon like OCC’s Anime, but it’s got the same sort of intensity. Lancome had a LE colour out last year called Rock Icon Fuchsia, it’s similar but without the blue duochrome.

It is! I wasn’t expecting it to be so vibrant, but it’s now my favourite pink. :]
