Stylish Blogger Award

A few weeks ago I was informed by Stacey of Butterfly Beauty, that I’d been choosen by her for the Stylish Blogger Award.

How fun is that? It was a pleasant surprise, and after taking some time to think about it – here are the five secrets or little known facts about about myself or about Beauty Thesis.

1. Beauty Thesis actually started out on a blog site called Vox. I blogged there for about 9 months before I decided to get my own domain. Sadly, Vox shut down at the end of September – so the original blog is no longer in existance.
2. As much as I call myself a makeup geek.. I also consider myself a web geek, and a bit of a gamer geek (PC only). I look at it as diverse interests, which is always a good thing. LOL
3. Lately, I have really been loving neutral makeup. There will always be a special place in my heart for bright and dramatic styles, but recently I find myself regularly going for looks that are softer and more polished.
4. I consider Beauty Thesis to be a true (and much loved) hobby. I will gladly spend hours working on it, and I actually find myself very frustrated when I don’t have the time to update regularly.
5. Even though I was interested in makeup as early as high school, I didn’t actually get into it seriously until after university.  I was definitely a late bloomer in terms of makeup.
